I always thought of keychain favors as a worstless type of gift, until I got a look at some of them that are available online. The way some of them are put together, however, they look very nice, and they are don’t cost much. Honestly I had never thought about key chain wedding favors until I got a look at some of the wonderful ideas they had for them. Some of the artwork on them depicted various wedding or honeymoon scenes, travel desinations, or scenes in nature. The key chain party favors given out at our wedding were very practical: they had a tape measure attached to them. Talk about being useful. I also liked the engagement ring key chain favors, with a small rhinestone studded band. Isn’t it incredible that you can find keychains that well designed? It’s not just weddings either; there is a lovely favor keychain for baby or bridal showers.
There were even more options than that at this Internet site that I found. They had a wonderful selection of supplies and decorations for weddings and receptions as well. The wedding cake topper we picked out for our glorious cake was a sight to behold. The wedding cake topper, which looked lovely as it was, had my groom and my initials in silver, and then accented by small, shimmering crystals. We had a lovely knife cake serving set too, with handles that were designed as bride and groom wedding attire. Our wedding table was very elegant with all the lovely shiny crystal champagne flutes and wine glasses and our reception tables were exquisite too. The place card holders I got off the Internet matched perfectly with the fine china and champagne flutes. The design of the place card holders was pretty distinctive. They had darling little daisies in a tiny little pot and the place card fits on top of one of the daisy petals.
Our caterers really outdid themselves with fantastic dishes and desserts and four different salads to choose from. We got some really top-notch musicians to play at our banquet hall for the reception. We got the best band in our location thanks to some connections that my groom had. Whatever song you wanted to hear, this group could do it really well. They played our song so beautifully that dancing our first dance together was one of the most magical moments of the night. One attendee at our wedding walked up and offered them a good chunk of change to come and play in about a month at his son’s engagement party.
It really, truly was the most perfect wedding and the most perfect reception that I could have ever imagined. I’ve got lots of terrific photos that our photographer shot for us and a video of the ceremony and our first dance. With all of the pictures we’ll have, I was relieved that had the foresight to buy two picture albums. I purchased a coffee table album to put in our family room as well. It has two pretty hearts on a silver metal frame, and it looks fantasitc. Oh, and then I got a photo album for our honeymoon pictures as well, since I knew that Cancun would have plenty of opportunites for taking great photos. So, when it came to photos, we were all set.
I’ll always remember that special day we spent with our friends and family around as we said our vows and became husband and wife. There are an abundance of mementos I have stashed away to remind me what a profound and wonderful day it was. The honeymoon wasn’t too shabby either.

Sunday, February 15th, 2009I had taken care of my wedding accessories and bridal needs, but I was still in the process of planning the rest of my wedding reception when a friend of my clued me in to a great place to get party supplies and wedding reception accessories. She said they had everything from decorations to wedding favors and she was right. I found so much to choose from that I wasn’t sure what I was going to get. After seeing all the themed wedding reception items they had, I was seriously considering changing my reception to a gorgeous fall theme. I couldn’t believe all the beautiful accessories and supplies they had for an autumn wedding and reception.
If I would have known about all the lovely cake toppers and decorating ideas there were, for all kinds of themed weddings, I would never have gone with the traditional. The more I thought about it, the more I wanted my fall themed reception. So, I decided to break with tradition and have an autumn reception party. My ceremony would stay the same, there would be too much to change for that, but for the reception, it would work. I used chocolate brown table cloths on all my reception tables and had centerpieces with all the colors of autumn, reds, yellows and a beautiful burnt orange. I’m telling you, they had everything from decorations to adorable keychain favors.
I really liked the selection of key chains, they had all kinds, there were even some for a 16 year old birthday party. I thought the poker ones were the cutest, but that wouldn’t go very well with my autumn theme, so I decided on the photo key chain wedding favors. I liked them because they not only served as key chains but you can carry your favorite little photo around with you. I thought that was really neat. I hoped my guests would appreciate them.
Our cake topper was awesome, I chose the silver monogram cake topper with our initials covered in sparkling crystals. It really showed off our wedding cake and added to the décor of the rest of the bridal table. Our cake serving set had ribbons of green, brown and bronze, perfect for our autumn table setting, and along with the crystal champagne flutes and wedding candles our table was picture perfect.
Everything was picture perfect for both our wedding ceremony and reception. Our friends and family had a fantastic time and thanked us for the lovely key chain favors they received as thank you gifts. Before I left for our honeymoon, I made sure I told my sister about the super party favors they had online. Since she is planning a birthday party for her 16 year old daughter, I thought she might want to check out all the favors they have available for kids her age. There were even keychains that had the number 16 on them for a sweet 16 birthday bash. There were lots of other favors available too, that would also work well for kids parties. There was even beach favors for a fun filled beach party if she wanted to go that route. Whatever she plans to do for her daughters birthday, she’ll find what she needs, if she shops where I shopped for all my wedding supplies.
Well, our wedding and reception wasn’t the only thing that was a total success. We had two glorious weeks sunning ourselves in the Bahamas for our fabulous honeymoon. I can’t wait to show my sister all the pictures we took, and the special souvenir I brought back for her.
