Not way back I was invited to a wedding of a co-worker. It absolutely was an awe-inspiring wedding and the bride was absolutely gorgeous. This was the foremost unforgettable marriage ceremony I’ve ever been to. You would have thought that Cinderella and Prince Charming were really the ones being wed. Only without the horrid stepmother and dog repulsive stepsisters. The brides glass slippers accomplished the fairytale wedding ensemble. The decorations at the church were fully exquisite. The candles and red and white roses very added to the beautiful storybook décor in the cathedral. They additionally had white tulle draped across every pew by the aisle and a protracted red carpet runner leading up to the altar. Any authentic princess would have been delighted with the marriage ceremony they had planned. Guests threw pink and white rose petals as the couple left the house of worship. Outside was a attractive horse drawn stagecoach to move them to the reception. I felt like I was really in an exceedingly genuine live fairy tale. The reception was pretty brilliant also. There were loads of flowers and reception tables that glittered from all the crystal and silver they’d laid out.

On the tables were little coachs used as placecard holders for each and every guest. Each and every reception table had exquisite castle formed candle holders at every table setting. They additionally had brilliant centerpieces. They had gorgeous glass bowls with floating candles and a hoop of flowers encircing it. Everything there was noteworthy. The miniature treats for each attendee was some form of Wedding Wine Favor for marriage ceremonies. Many of the guests received Wine Bottle Wedding Favor and still others had unique Wine Bottle Wedding Favors for a small gift. My thank you gift was one of the wine stopper favors. My party favors wine stopper was heart formed and others received stoppers with calla lilies on top. Giving a wedding Wine Glass Favors as thank you gifts had never ocurred to me before. Everyone seemed very proud of their wedding favors. I never in my wildest dreams thought there may be so several distinctive designs for a bottle stopper before. One of my close friends received a lovely wine bottle wedding favor with an enticing red wine label on the front. One more guest showed us her wedding favor wine glasses that she was given as a thank you gift. This was a reception that was definitely calculatedly out. You might tell they put a lot of effort in coming up with this wedding and reception.

I’m in the middle of planning my bridal ceremony and reception. I hope I will do half as sensible a job at coming up with this event as she did.

I asked her where she found all the themed decorations and accessories for her wedding day. She gave me a link to an online wedding supply store that she said is one among the best. So after I went home I jumped on my computer right away. I didn’t know why I’d never heard of this site before. It’s amazing at all they have to choose from. There were quite a few accessories at discount costs also. There are so many accessories to decide on from for almost any themed wedding you wish to have. Although I assumed their fairytale wedding was wonderful, we have a tendency to were thinking more along the lines of a beach wedding. I found several accessories and provides that will be perfect for our wedding by the water. Invitations and wedding website has already been taken care of. All we required was the decorations and alternative necessary accessories. I ordered what we required for the reception and currently have the whole lot I may probably need for a lovely wedding and reception by the water. Our reception can be the speak of our friends and family.

I’m in love with these new weddings!

I look back at my wedding day and see the difference in how things have changed in decorations and how great they look. It’s amazing what is out there and the variety you can choose from. Beach party weddings can be one of the most fantastic ceremonies with seashells and starfish to help decorate with. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. I found very exceptional new wedding selections for seasonal ceremonies. There are winter season decorations and all their accessories with the glitter and gold that will definitely be a beautiful addition to your themed decor. Did you know that some couples actually have a winter wedding outside? To me having a wedding in the winter outside would be a beautiful site to see and yet a little way out of the norm. I think I would be just fine with an indoor winter wedding and reception. Maybe a ski resort would be a good place for a winter wedding, with all the fireplaces and cozy winter atmosphere.

There were also quite a bit to choose from for autumn weddings too, which is really my favorite time of the year. With all the gorgeous colors and the pumpkins, gourds and just the fresh clean smell in the air, the fall season seems to me to be the best season for a wedding. My wedding day was so long ago that the choices we had were being married in the church or running away and getting married. Today there are so many various weddings you can plan, that you can have the wedding you always wanted. There are even destination weddings, where you have a few close friends and family go along to the location of your choice for you ceremony. It’s like having a family elopement. There are also a great new wedding party favor selection, from everything from traditional to destination weddings that you can buy for your reception.

My daughter is getting married in two months and I’m helping her to plan the whole thing and she has decided to have a country western ceremony and reception. I would of never guessed that a country western wedding would be so great until I helped my daughter plan hers. She found cake toppers that have a western theme to them, plus everything she needed for her bridal table, including western champagne flutes. They’re really quite unique looking. To make the atmosphere more western she put some hay bales, set up barbecue grills around and even hired a country western band. There will be lights and lanterns strung throughout the reception, giving it that western look. Also she purchased centerpieces and name card holders that are western style. It amazed me when I found out that they were having the wedding at a ranch because I never heard of renting one for a special occasion before. She ordered quite a few wedding accessories online that will go perfectly with the country western theme. She bought bride and groom cowboy hats there for her and her fiance and the cutest little new weddings for each of their guests.

She has everything all planned out to be more of a huge family cookout, hayride, picnic type of reception. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. Would you believe there’s even going to be an old fashioned barn dance too? Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. Everybody will always remember this wedding. Thanks to my daughters great country themed wedding, she’s given me a great idea for our anniversary.

The best new party favors I’ve seen in a while!

Things sure have changed since my wedding day, especially the fantastic accessories and reception supplies available. It’s amazing what is out there and the variety you can choose from. There were plenty of suggestions for beach weddings that I thought were very nice with little seashells, starfish and other oceanside designs. Just researching you could find great ideas for a summer or spring wedding. I saw gorgeous new wedding collections for all seasons. There are winter season decorations and all their accessories with the glitter and gold that will definitely be a beautiful addition to your themed decor. I actually heard that some brides and grooms have an outside winter wedding. To me having a wedding in the winter outside would be a beautiful site to see and yet a little way out of the norm. I think I’d rather have my winter wonderland wedding and reception, indoors, where it’s warm.

When I got married, a long, long time ago, about the only options we had, was the traditional wedding, a justice of the peace or elopement. Now there are so many different types of weddings you can really have your ceremony exactly the way you want to. I’ve heard of weddings where the location is out of state or even the country and all the friends and famliy fly to that location to have the wedding ceremony. It seems like a great way to escape for all the friends and family. You can choose from a terrific new wedding selection – they have everything from old style weddings to long distance weddings.

Soon my daughter will be getting married and I have been helping her to prepare for her country western wedding and reception. When she told me her idea for the wedding, I thought oh boy this is going to be one weird wedding, but as we were planning it I saw how awesome it was going to be. She ordered all the decorations in a western style decor. They’re really quite unique looking. She’s set up a country band, barbecue grills and hay bales that will be part of the party decor. She plans to string lights and lanterns everywhere outside for her big country reception party. She order western place card holders and watercans for the centerpieces and put flowers in them. They’ve arranged to rent a dude ranch for this event, which really surprised me, because, I didn’t know you could even do that. She purchased many wedding and reception embellishments on the internet and they went with the country western style. She ordered delightful new party favors for all their friends and family and cowboy hats for the bride and groom.

She has everything all planned out to be more of a huge family cookout, hayride, picnic type of reception. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. Would you believe there’s even going to be an old fashioned barn dance too? After hearing all this I knew I had to go to the store and get blue jeans, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat so that I could join in the fun and excitement. Everybody will always remember this wedding. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.

The Search For Summer Wedding Ideas!

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

Planning an outside wedding wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. It turns out that it was a lot cheaper in cost than it would have been to have an indoor wedding. Since we had the flowers and mother nature everywhere, I didn’t have to spend a lot of money on decorations. The first thing on my agenda was to find that perfect place to hold our summer wedding and reception party. Instead of having our wedding ceremony and reception on the beach or in a garden, I chose to have it in the park. I found there were several great locations that would work out perfectly for an outdoor wedding.

Since I never planned a wedding like this before, I needed all the help I could get. When you plan to be married in the great outdoors, it seems you have to have a backup plan just in case the weather turns from sunny to pouring buckets. It’s a good idea to have a tent ready to continue your ceremony if it becomes necessary.

In our original wedding preparations, we had a lovely canopy set up for the reception and a lovely trellis for our ceremony. The only real decorations I needed were those for my wedding table and the guests reception tables. With the park as our main theme, I basically had to make sure I had our table settings and maybe throw in a few extra bouquets of flowers. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. You couldn’t tell they were artificial they were so beautiful, they looked like the real deal. Although planning wasn’t as difficult a chore as I thought, there were quite a few things to take care of. There are some spectacular summer wedding invitations, but the sun can turn your beautiful wedding cake into a gooey pool of confection.

As far as table décor, I found so many fantastic accessories for our reception. I had little park bench place card holders at each table setting, and little citronella votive candles in glass globes with a nice flower arrangement as our centerpieces. I found very decorative favor boxes and used them to package the chrome bottle openers we bought for our friends and family as a summer favor. The most beautiful part of our wedding table was our cake with it’s gorgeous wedding cake topper.

While shopping for my wedding accessories I saw this topper and couldn’t resist it. They were customized toppers for the wedding couple. All I had to do was send in a head shot picture of me and my fiance and they custom made a bride and groom cake topper with our faces. What a wonderful momento of our wedding day. All of our guests were so impressed with our topper, they couldn’t stop talking about it. Our crystal champagne flutes and silver cake serving set was just a few of the fantastic accessories I ordered for our ceremony and reception. It’s unbelievable all the lovely accessories you can purchase from you computer.

It was the perfect wedding and reception, just like I had hoped for. The weather cooperated and we never had to go to plan “B” with the tents. We all loved the super DJ and the fantastic job he was doing, and if I’m right, he probably kept the music and dancing going on for quite a while after we left to go on our honeymoon. There were many good comments about our beautiful wedding ceremony and fun filled reception party we had. I’m so glad I decided to go with a wedding in the park. I’d love to do this again and have a wedding renewal in the park, maybe for an anniversary, someday.

When you’re looking for a wedding gift…

I debated a long time before deciding on what type of wedding ceremony and reception I wanted to have. I liked the idea of a beach wedding, but a garden wedding or country western theme sounded pretty great too. Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. Then I found out about destination weddings and that one got me thinking. How great would it be to have a ceremony and reception in Las Vegas, or maybe take it all the way to Hawaii? I would probably go for the Hawaii destination. But then I thought about all the people that would be disappointed that they couldn’t be there, and I had to toss that idea in the dumpster.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in July, that just didn’t seem appropriate. I decided to go with the last, but not least of the wedding theme ideas, and have a fairy tale ceremony and reception. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. I also found a place to get the perfect fairy tale wedding cake for a gorgeous royal wedding. So my decision was made. We can declare a royal wedding.
Through online shopping I found lovely story book invitations. Next I started checking out all the wedding accessories and reception supplies I would need. I picked out floor length dresses for the girls in my wedding party, and found an exquisite gown for myself. All of the groomsmen and the ring boy looked so handsome in their tuxes, but the best looking one of all, was my regal prince. When I walked down the aisle towards my husband to be I really felt like I was royalty. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding ceremony. The flowers, the candles, and the gorgeous satin bows on the end of the pews really set the whole thing off. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. Outside we climbed into a gorgeous horse drawn carriage to take us to the reception hall.
A real castle wouldn’t haved looked as good as our reception hall with all of the fantastic accessories and decorations. I had no problem when it came to the decorations or the wonderful wedding favors I had for our guests. I even found the perfect favor boxes to put each themed wedding party favor in for our guests. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. They had storybook champagne flutes and little coaches for place card holders. They had everything imaginable for a storybook wedding and reception.
Our guests all had a wonderful time and were very impressed with all the lovely storybook décor. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. If I do say so myself, it was quite spectacular. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. Since this was a special day in my life, I wanted everything to be special. Everything from our wedding cake topper to the wedding party favors for our friends and family went with our storybook theme. I wanted to give our guests more than just favors, that’s why I chose gifts that could also be used as souvenirs. A special something to remind them of sharing this very special ceremony with us.
After the honeymoon was over, there was the job of filling out thank you notes for all of our guests. Would you believe I even found fairytale thank you notes for everyone? Maybe on our 20th anniversary we can do this again.

It took me a while before I could decide on a theme for our ceremony and reception party. I liked the idea of a beach wedding, but a garden wedding or country western theme sounded pretty great too. Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. Destination weddings also sounds like a great idea. How great would it be to have a ceremony and reception in Las Vegas, or maybe take it all the way to Hawaii? I would love a tropical island wedding. I soon put that idea to rest, there are too many people on our guestlist for a wedding like that.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in the summer months, I didn’t think I should go with a snow scene. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. I also found a place to get the perfect fairy tale wedding cake for a gorgeous royal wedding. So my decision was made. We can declare a royal wedding.
I had no problem finding the perfect wedding invitations online. Next I started checking out all the wedding accessories and reception supplies I would need. I bought the most beautiful wedding gown I could find at the bridal shop and had my bridesmaids and little flower girl in exquisite floor length dresses, all with tiaras. The groom (my prince) and all of the groomsmen and ring boy wore tuxes that made them all look so elegant and sophisticated. I could feel all eyes on me as I walked down the aisle, and half way expected them to bow to their new queen. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. The flowers, the candles, and the gorgeous satin bows on the end of the pews really set the whole thing off. As we were leaving the church, everyone tossed rose petals and cheered us on. We were driven to the reception in a horse drawn carriage, just like royalty.
Our reception was a total success, with all the storybook accessories, it looked like the inside of a castle. I found everything to fit the ocassion from decorations to wedding favors. I even found adorable boxes for each and every wedding party favor. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. I bought little coaches that made perfect place card holders, and exquisite champagne flutes with a storybook design. I couldn’t have pulled this off without the wonderful accessories they have for fairytale weddings.
Some of our guests commented on the themed décor and told us what a great time they were having. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. A fairy tale wedding was a great idea, and it really helped to be able to have such fantastic accessories to choose from. I wanted today to be as special for our guests as it was for me and my new husband. Everything from our wedding cake topper to the wedding favor ideas for our friends and family went with our storybook theme. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. I wanted to give them something they would look back on with fond memories.
After the honeymoon was over, there was the job of filling out thank you notes for all of our guests. Believe it or not, I was able to get thank you notes with a fairytale theme. Maybe on our 20th anniversary we can do this again.
