I debated a long time before deciding on what type of wedding ceremony and reception I wanted to have. I liked the idea of a beach wedding, but a garden wedding or country western theme sounded pretty great too. Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. Then I found out about destination weddings and that one got me thinking. How great would it be to have a ceremony and reception in Las Vegas, or maybe take it all the way to Hawaii? I would probably go for the Hawaii destination. But then I thought about all the people that would be disappointed that they couldn’t be there, and I had to toss that idea in the dumpster.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in July, that just didn’t seem appropriate. I decided to go with the last, but not least of the wedding theme ideas, and have a fairy tale ceremony and reception. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. I also found a place to get the perfect fairy tale wedding cake for a gorgeous royal wedding. So my decision was made. We can declare a royal wedding.
Through online shopping I found lovely story book invitations. Next I started checking out all the wedding accessories and reception supplies I would need. I picked out floor length dresses for the girls in my wedding party, and found an exquisite gown for myself. All of the groomsmen and the ring boy looked so handsome in their tuxes, but the best looking one of all, was my regal prince. When I walked down the aisle towards my husband to be I really felt like I was royalty. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding ceremony. The flowers, the candles, and the gorgeous satin bows on the end of the pews really set the whole thing off. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. Outside we climbed into a gorgeous horse drawn carriage to take us to the reception hall.
A real castle wouldn’t haved looked as good as our reception hall with all of the fantastic accessories and decorations. I had no problem when it came to the decorations or the wonderful wedding favors I had for our guests. I even found the perfect favor boxes to put each themed wedding party favor in for our guests. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. They had storybook champagne flutes and little coaches for place card holders. They had everything imaginable for a storybook wedding and reception.
Our guests all had a wonderful time and were very impressed with all the lovely storybook décor. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. If I do say so myself, it was quite spectacular. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. Since this was a special day in my life, I wanted everything to be special. Everything from our wedding cake topper to the wedding party favors for our friends and family went with our storybook theme. I wanted to give our guests more than just favors, that’s why I chose gifts that could also be used as souvenirs. A special something to remind them of sharing this very special ceremony with us.
After the honeymoon was over, there was the job of filling out thank you notes for all of our guests. Would you believe I even found fairytale thank you notes for everyone? Maybe on our 20th anniversary we can do this again.

When you’re looking for a wedding gift…
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009Found Some Beautiful High-Quality Engagement Party Invitations
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009I’m giving my best friend a bridal shower and before I even got started I sat down and made a list of all the things I needed to buy for the party. At the top of the list was getting a party invitation. Now I’m one of those women that really doesn’t like shopping where I have to fight the crowds, or wait in line for price checks, so I decided to go online and see what I could come up with for the bridal shower. Boy, did I luck out in that department. The prices and selection were both better than I expected. Some of the deals were just incredible. The script on the party invitations was silver, and the edges were pearl; they looked exquisite. They had all kinds of invitation cards, from general party invitations to specific ones, like party invitations.
There were some great little accessories for my shower too, like place card holders for all the little tables I had set up. One of the things I found was a little bridal guest book for everyone to sign and for the bride, to be, to keep a record of every gift she received. There was also a cute idea for a place card holder that I really liked. The place cards themselves had pink lilies on them, and then everyone got a handbag made of plastic and filled with candy in different-colored wrappers. They looked so nice on the party tables along with the decorations and party favors I chose for everyone. You should see all the cute litte favor boxes you can get for just about any ocassion you are planning on celebrating. The boxes I selected had floral designs, and I piled them neatly on a cake platter and set them on the table with all the presents. It looked very decorative like that and each lady just took a gift from the plate. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. I found some random things to hand out as awards, such as unique key rings, little vanity mirrors, and special soaps.
I went online and got some great game ideas for the party too. In the the game ‘Take It Off,’ each person put a bag over their head and they have to take off one piece of clothing when the leader of the game tells them to, and it doesn’t occur to all of the women to take of the bag; it’s very amusing to watch. That is a funny experience you’ll never forget. We also played bridal bingo and a couple other funny games. I’m so glad I thought to browse the internet, else wise I wouldn’t have gotten such great deals and accessories. I know I got a super deal on the favors and invitations I picked out. I paid a fraction of what I had expected, I had lots of accessories to choose from and I didn’t have to go with inferior products. I had to tell the bride to be all about this website I go to, because they have an awesome selection of wedding invitations and favors too, and I thought she should know about it. She’ll have a lot of options when she uses this site, and it will save her a pretty penny, which all newlyweds need. The shower was a hit because of them, I know that much. We all had a super time and all my favors and other accessories really impressed my guests. The people who took the time to go to the shower will all get thank you cards, which I’m working on now. The thank you cards, as you might expect, were purchased on the net as well. Next, I’m helping with my friends sons’ birthday party with the help of my favorite online store.
Wedding Bell Decoration!
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009You could hear the wedding bells ring as we headed for our limo, with our guests yelling their good wishes and tossing rose petals our way. That’s how it was on our wedding day. I have to say, it was a fantastic ceremony too, and with all the help I got on accessory suggestions, it wasn’t hard to put it all together. We had the best in wedding accessories and reception supplies to make it all a dream come true.
Everything from the lovely invitations to the fantastic party favors for our guests was in their wonderful collection of wedding supplies. On the front of our invitations was silver printing which added to the elegance of the card. I found a lovely ring pillow and flower basket set that I also ordered from them. It was a beautiful satin garnet color and included a wedding guest book, pen set and wedding garter. Five items bought as a group, that cost a lot less than you would think.
There were a lot of other items I ordered too, like my lovely aisle runner for the church ceremony. We wanted to have a bell wedding and we loved it! All the little bells were ringing at the end of the ceremony, as we made our way to the limo. I thought that was a great idea.
I bought accessories online for our reception as well as our ceremony. There were all kinds of wonderful ideas for our wedding reception. I have this thing for shiny things, and I found a lot of crystal glassware, including beautiful champagne flutes for our reception tables. There were twisted stemmed flutes which I ordered for our guests and a special toasting flute set I ordered especially for the bride and groom for our table. Wedding bell favors really made our tables shine with elegance, and I thought it would be a nice gift for our guests as a little something extra to show our appreciation.
I could have bought every gorgeous item they had on their list, but I think I would have been overdoing it just a little. We gave out glass coasters as wedding favors for our friends and family. They had a lovely calla lilie design on them that was absolutely beautiful. I also chose these very elegant looking favor boxes with a little thank you tag on them, for the wedding favors. The shiny gift boxes added that extra sparkle to our guests tables. I purchased flowers and ordered some beautiful candles to make into our centerpieces for the reception tables.
The wedding cake we had set up at the end of the reception hall was really spectacular. A beautiful wedding topper sat on top of our chocolate cherry three tiered wedding cake. Our topper was really exquisite, with calla lilies and a beautiful ribbon, tied in a bow. Everything at our reception turned out to be perfect. I had to go back online where I bought our wedding album and puchase a second album for all the pictures that were taken at the wedding and reception. There were so many shots of us with our wedding cake and the traditional cutting and sharing of the very first piece. There were also pictures of our first dance together as man and wife, our guests on the dance floor and an adorable picture of the flower girl and ring boy dancing together.
The compliments I got from our guests on our wedding décor was really nice, but it really made me feel good to know that they all had such a great time. Someday I’d like to have a renewal ceremony and reception for our anniversary and thank goodness, my husband agrees.
Custom Wedding Bells Favors!
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009There was the sound of wedding bells, the tossing of rose petals, and the traditional run for the limo while friends and family cheered us on. That’s how it was on our wedding day. I have to say, it was a fantastic ceremony too, and with all the help I got on accessory suggestions, it wasn’t hard to put it all together. There was everything for to pull off the perfect wedding ceremony and reception.
From the wedding invitations to the wedding favors for our guests, they had everything. Our invitations were quite lovely with the silver printing on the front. I found a lovely ring pillow and flower basket set that I also ordered from them. It came in a beautiful garnet, and there was also a guestbook and pen set, and a very lovely wedding garter. Five items bought as a group, that cost a lot less than you would think.
I also picked out an aisle runner along with other accessories for our wedding. We wanted to have a bell wedding and we loved it! After we were pronounced man and wife, everyone at the ceremony rang their little bells as we walked back down the aisle. I really liked the idea of the bell ringing.
I bought accessories online for our reception as well as our ceremony. There were all kinds of wonderful ideas for our wedding reception. I wanted our reception tables to shine with elegance, so the first thing I ordered were the crystal toasting flutes. There were twisted stemmed flutes which I ordered for our guests and a special toasting flute set I ordered especially for the bride and groom for our table. The wedding bells favors I picked out not only helped to add the sparkle I wanted for my tables, but served as a wedding favor for each of our guests.
I could have bought every gorgeous item they had on their list, but I think I would have been overdoing it just a little. Glass coasters was our choice of wedding favor gifts for our guests. They were specially designed with a calla lilie on each one. I found the perfect little silver favor boxes with thank you tags to package the wedding favors in. The wedding favors in their little silver boxes made our tables even more elegant. I purchased flowers and ordered some beautiful candles to make into our centerpieces for the reception tables.

I had to go back online where I bought our wedding album and puchase a second album for all the pictures that were taken at the wedding and reception. There were several pictures of us cutting the wedding cake and feeding that first piece to each other. I have pictures of our friends and family, the ring boy and flower girl on the dance floor together and our first dance as husband and wife.
Our friends and family told me they had a fantastic time at our reception and that they think I did a spectacular job in planning the wedding décor. I told my husband that I would really like to do this again someday for one of our anniversaries, and he agreed that it’s a good idea.

With all the tons of wedding pictures we had, I finally had to order another wedding album to store them all in. We have quite a few pictures of the the cake cutting and sharing of the first piece. Do your research before choosing favors for wedding!
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009It took me a while before I could decide on a theme for our ceremony and reception party. I liked the idea of a beach wedding, but a garden wedding or country western theme sounded pretty great too. Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. Destination weddings also sounds like a great idea. How great would it be to have a ceremony and reception in Las Vegas, or maybe take it all the way to Hawaii? I would love a tropical island wedding. I soon put that idea to rest, there are too many people on our guestlist for a wedding like that.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in the summer months, I didn’t think I should go with a snow scene. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. I also found a place to get the perfect fairy tale wedding cake for a gorgeous royal wedding. So my decision was made. We can declare a royal wedding.
I had no problem finding the perfect wedding invitations online. Next I started checking out all the wedding accessories and reception supplies I would need. I bought the most beautiful wedding gown I could find at the bridal shop and had my bridesmaids and little flower girl in exquisite floor length dresses, all with tiaras. The groom (my prince) and all of the groomsmen and ring boy wore tuxes that made them all look so elegant and sophisticated. I could feel all eyes on me as I walked down the aisle, and half way expected them to bow to their new queen. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. The flowers, the candles, and the gorgeous satin bows on the end of the pews really set the whole thing off. As we were leaving the church, everyone tossed rose petals and cheered us on. We were driven to the reception in a horse drawn carriage, just like royalty.
Our reception was a total success, with all the storybook accessories, it looked like the inside of a castle. I found everything to fit the ocassion from decorations to wedding favors. I even found adorable boxes for each and every wedding party favor. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. I bought little coaches that made perfect place card holders, and exquisite champagne flutes with a storybook design. I couldn’t have pulled this off without the wonderful accessories they have for fairytale weddings.
Some of our guests commented on the themed décor and told us what a great time they were having. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. A fairy tale wedding was a great idea, and it really helped to be able to have such fantastic accessories to choose from. I wanted today to be as special for our guests as it was for me and my new husband. Everything from our wedding cake topper to the wedding favor ideas for our friends and family went with our storybook theme. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. I wanted to give them something they would look back on with fond memories.
After the honeymoon was over, there was the job of filling out thank you notes for all of our guests. Believe it or not, I was able to get thank you notes with a fairytale theme. Maybe on our 20th anniversary we can do this again.
Do your research before choosing cheap wedding favors!
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009I debated a long time before deciding on what type of wedding ceremony and reception I wanted to have. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a beach wedding, a garden wedding or a country western wedding. Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. Destination weddings also sounds like a great idea. I thought about the tropical shores of Hawaii or the excitement of Vegas might be a great idea. I would probably go for the Hawaii destination. But then I thought about all the people that would be disappointed that they couldn’t be there, and I had to toss that idea in the dumpster.
Then I thought about a winter themed wedding. But a wedding in July just didn’t seem like the right time to do a winter theme. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. There were plenty of fairy tale accessories and ideas to work with for the perfect story book wedding. The bakery even had wedding cakes that worked out with my idea. So my decision was made. Cinderella and Prince Charming were getting married.
Through online shopping I found lovely story book invitations. Next I started checking out all the wedding accessories and reception supplies I would need. My wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous and the bridesmaids and flower girl had beautiful dresses that were floor length. My handsome fiance and all of his wedding party looked so elegant in their tuxes, even the little ring boy looked like royalty. When I walked down the aisle towards my husband to be I really felt like I was royalty. Our wedding ceremony was more beautiful than I could have hoped for. The accessories I bought added so much glamour and style to our storybook wedding. As we were leaving the church, everyone tossed rose petals and cheered us on. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.
A real castle wouldn’t haved looked as good as our reception hall with all of the fantastic accessories and decorations. I had no problem when it came to the decorations or the wonderful wedding favors I had for our guests. I even found adorable boxes for each and every wedding favor. Some of our guests commented on the themed décor and told us what a great time they were having. A friend of ours told us it was the most fantastic dream wedding she’s ever seen. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. I wanted today to be as special for our guests as it was for me and my new husband. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. A special something to remind them of sharing this very special ceremony with us.
I had a lot of thank you note to take care of when we got back from our honeymoon. Believe it or not, I was able to get thank you notes with a fairytale theme. I wouldn’t mind having a fairytale anniversary renewal ceremony.
